Salut! The response to my last blog challenge question was Stéphane Peterhansel (also known as <<Monsieur Dakar>>) came in third place in the car division in the Saudi Arabia hosted Dakar Rally this year. He has more wins in the bike and car divisions than any other racer in the Dakar.

French Club - We will meet on mardi le 4 février (Tuesday, February 4th) to talk about tee-shirts, field trips and community service projects and eat a French snack. Hope to see you there! We will also meet on mardi le 25 février (Tuesday, February 25th) to celebrate Mardi Gras. All meetings are in my room from 3:40-5:00. I look forward to seeing you there.
Français 1 - You should have completed two assignments in the online textbook - D'accord! Level 1. Click here to access your online textbook -- www.vhlcentral.com. We are planning an assessment this week over spelling, numbers, the date and definite and indefinite articles. We learned about how to discuss the weather. We watched the Roman-Photo and started a Google Voice project today. This project will be due by midnight on vendredi le 7 février (Friday, February 7th) at midnight.
Français 2 -- You will be taking your assessment over French 1 material this week. There are many notes and study aids to help you, including flash cards and the Verb Guide 2000. Also, you should have presented your Solomon Grundy project by this point. If not, please do so ASAP. You also signed up for your online textbooks last week. Be sure that you completed this task and the first activity on seasons. You can access the online textbook by clicking here -- www.vhlcentral.com.
For this week's challenge question, I want you to take a closer look at the textbook by trying the vText function. Access the red level 1 online textbook using the link above, log in with your new account. Go to the tab that says "Content" and then scroll down to "vText." Go to page 5. Examine the cartoons at the bottom of the page. For cinq tickets, tell me the English equivalent of <<Tout est bien qui finit bien.>> You can give me the answer in class or e-mail your response. Bonne chance! Ciao!
